Mobile and flexible work

wfc supports the establishment of a district-wide network of coworking spaces

wfc is creating space for mobile, digital working in the Coesfeld district by setting up and supporting coworking spaces. In rural areas in particular, more and more employees want to commute less, but also do not want to work from home permanently. A trend that has been reinforced by the coronavirus pandemic. Coworking spaces are one possible solution. They offer fully equipped workspaces close to home that can be booked flexibly.

The wfc is therefore working on gradually creating new locations in cities and municipalities and convincing commuters and companies of the benefits of the offer.

Commuters benefit from

  • flexible, fully equipped workplaces
  • the elimination of the (long) journey to work
  • more free time, time for family, friends, sport or voluntary work
  • new impulses and networks through the other users of the coworking spaces

Companies have

  • more satisfied employees
  • less need for their own office space and car parks
  • an extended radius for the search for skilled labour if the number of days of presence in the company is reduced

The coworking spaces are an integral part of the support concept for the digital transformation in Münsterland because they will help to connect start-ups and SMEs.
