The founding circle

With group counselling in the start-up circle, we offer you the opportunity to prepare for self-employment together with other founders under the guidance of coaches. A start-up circle usually consists of four to six founders.

The state of NRW supports participation by covering 50 per cent of the costs (510 euros). For founders who start their own business from a position of unemployment, as well as for people returning to work and university graduates who can prove that their income is comparable to unemployment benefit II, the start-up circle can be subsidised with 90 percent of the costs (EUR 918) via the NRW Business Advisory Programme. The flat-rate costs per day are 1020 euros. The founders must make advance payments.

The success of the start-up circle depends largely on the participants and the composition of the group. For this reason, a preliminary discussion with us is a prerequisite for participation.
